RUDE TONES

Rude Tones was formed in late 2013, through college band mates Kinu (guitar), Go (Bass), Ryota (Drums) re-uniting in a jam session after many years. Koba (vocals), who knew Ryota, consequently joined the band. Kinu presented the band with its first material “Human Being”, where Ryota and Go responded with the groovy rhythm which turned out to be initial spark, giving birth to the chemistry that led to series of new songs including *Hanabira*, a pop tune that Kinu initially brought to the table but one that was injected an entirely new life by Ryota and Go with its groove, and lyrics by Koba. “I try not to refine an idea too much because I know that it will often turn into something totally different, and that is the magic of Rude Tones” says guitartist kinu. ” Each of the band members have their own musical influence and feel. When that all gets together, a unique vive is created, and that is the groove of Rude Tones* say Ryota. It is hard to put the band in any genre given the wide variety of original songs, but influenced by bands such as Red hot chili Peppers, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Sly & the family stone, etc.

The Band will release its debut album “Nude Tunes” on June 16th.
